End of the Sand Season 2009

Well our sand season finally ended last week. It ended with a victory in the King/Queen of the Beach. Yes, King here...43 years old...one of my good friend's Sue won the women's which was lonnnng overdue as she is one of the top players in the group. Second place in Men's, my left handed nemesis Rob. So two 43 year olds win the top places in men's and a 30 something woman wins in women's. I consider that a high five to all us 30 and 40 somethings!!

This particular week I am playing 3 nights of indoor....supposed to be 4 but I couldn't (didn't want to) make Mondays Men's 4s King of the Court. It was an added week and I had already played a tournament on Saturday and wanted the day off. Playoffs are this coming Monday and I already made that so I had nothing to lose.

Last night was the first night of BB Regular/Reverse Coed 4s with my new team. My two gals, Mary and Misty, are both very good and my buddy Daniel and I held our own when we weren't all giggle so much! Going to be a fun league!

Tonight is A/AA Regular/Reverse and tonight will be our 3rd night but our first un-stressful night as we have now secured the services of our friend Big Brad who is a big man and funny as Hell...tonight my friend Jackie is subbing as well so we have a good chance of doing well.

Tomorrow night....Regular Coed 4s in my Nosoxxvolleyball league...finally get to play with another fun group, Stefan and Norm.

This weekend.....A BREAK!!!!
